Hall of Fame Induction Ceremonies

The International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame induction ceremonies recognize and honor the Honour Swimmers, Honour Pilots, Honour Administrators and Honour Organisations of each Class of inductees of the International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame.

Class of 2010

The International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame honourees and award winners were recognized and celebrated during the 2011 Global Open Water Swimming Conference in a special induction ceremony at the United Nations Building in New York City on June 18th.

The International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame also awarded its Certificate of Merit to the following individuals:

Steven Munatones received the Irving Davids-Captain Roger Wheeler Memorial Award which was established by the New England Marathon Swimming Association. This award is given to an individual to honor and recognize contributions to marathon swimming as a perpetual memorial to Irving Davids and Captain Roger Wheeler.
